PATHS Safety Culture

The Health & Safety Division offers a two-part safety culture training program for companies interested in enhancing their safety culture. A positive safety culture is directly related to significantly reduced workplace accidents, efficient safety communications and employee morale.

Part One provides attendees with basic information and knowledge to help recognize the type of safety culture currently existing in their workplace, as well as the steps to establish and maintain a positive safety culture.

Part Two is a four-hour interactive workshop for senior leadership, management and supervisors on specific tools used to establish, evaluate and maintain a positive workplace safety culture. Topics include: assessment tools, effective training, policies and procedures, site management, human factors, teambuilding, action plans and top-down commitment.
