The Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, or OVR, provides vocational rehabilitation services to help persons with disabilities prepare for, obtain, or maintain employment. OVR provides services to eligible individuals with disabilities, both directly and through a network of approved vendors. Services are provided on an individualized basis.
Employment First Act
Through the Employment First Act, Act 36 of 2018, the Office of Governor Tom Wolf and the Governor’s Cabinet for People with Disabilities, has created the initial three-year plan, that outlines the commonwealth’s policy recommendations to implement the Employment First Act to improve employment outcomes for Pennsylvanians with disabilities. OVR Listening Sessions
The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation will be hosting two public Listening Sessions – May 11 and May 12, 2022 – to seek input from stakeholders as it prepares to apply to the Rehabilitation Services Administration for a competitive discretionary grant.
