Explore Grant Opportunities

PennSERVE provides funding to organizations across Pennsylvania to utilize AmeriCorps as a tool to address local issues in key focus areas, including economic opportunity, education, disaster preparedness, environmental stewardship, healthy futures, and veterans and military families. Organizations with AmeriCorps funding develop multi-year AmeriCorps programs and recruit, place, and supervise AmeriCorps members to carry out specific and impactful service activities.

2022 Grants

AmeriCorps State Program Grants

AmeriCorps Program Grants are available for the operation of AmeriCorps programs. Program grants enable organizations to recruit and support AmeriCorps members as they serve unmet community needs. Applications are due Thursday, March 3, 2022. The grant period begins August 2022.

Planning Grants

AmeriCorps Program are available to allow organizations to develop plans to establish a new AmeriCorps program in Pennsylvania or to replicate a successful existing program in unserved or underserved areas of the state. Applications are due Thursday, March 3, 2022. The grant period begins August 2022.

Information and Technical Assistance Sessions

Multi-State AmeriCorps Programs

An organization applying to operate an AmeriCorps program in more than one state must apply to the federal AmeriCorps agency directly. Programs that intend to operate in and outside of Pennsylvania must complete the Multi-State AmeriCorps Consultation Form through America’s Service Commissions. The consultation form must be completed prior to the application deadline. Visit America's Service Commissions website to complete your consultation form.
