The Benefits of Apprenticeship
Learn New Skills. Build Confidence. Start Your Future, Today.
Apprenticeships help bridge our skill gap while offering a lot of great benefits. Apprenticeships are continuing to grow, and apprenticeships offer something a typical 4-year degree doesn’t – a paid job with a competitive wage from day one, education and the credentials you need for the job in that industry all in one program.
You can also leverage your apprenticeship for a college degree using the skills you learn toward academic credits while avoiding student debt.
Apprenticeships are growing in every field and open many career opportunities for those looking for work in the various industries, including (but not limited to):
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Culinary Arts
- Finance and Business
- Information Technology (IT)
- Electrical Work
nine out of 10 apprentices are employed after completing their apprenticeship, starting with a salary of $70,000 per year.
Workers who complete apprenticeship programs earn approximately $300,000 more during their career than their peers who do not.
What's So Cool About Apprenticeships?
Find Your Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship programs are run and managed by the organization offering the opportunity; however, we'll help you get connected.
If you're still in high school, talk to you school counselor to see if there are any pre-apprenticeship programs available. Pre-apprenticeships establish a direct connection with an existing apprenticeship program and deliver both hands on and instructional-based learning.
