UCC e-Alerts

Periodically, the Bureau of Occupational and Industrial Safety in the Department of Labor & Industry sends out UCC e-Alerts as a service to code officials, elected officials, design professionals, contractors and other persons who are interested in news, issues or developments related to the Uniform Construction Code.

If you previously registered for e-Alerts on the Department’s home page, and if the e-mail address you provided remains a viable address, you need not sign-up again for this service.

If you have not previously requested this service, please send an e-mail message with the Subject listed as “UCC e-Alert Sign-Up” to the following address: RA-LI-BOIS-UCCealert@pa.gov

Before signing up for this service, please note the following terms and conditions:

  1. Any e-mails sent to a registrant and returned as undeliverable will be cause for dropping the registrant from future mailings.
  2. This e-mail address is only utilized to transmit e-Alerts. Please do not send UCC questions or requests for assistance to this address, as these communications will not receive a response.
     

Given the first term, it is imperative that you:

  • Notify the Bureau of an e-mail address change, immediately.
  • Add this e-Alert address to your approved senders list.
  • Make sure that your In-Box is cleared periodically, so that any e-Alerts will not be returned, because your mailbox has reached its capacity.
