Sandi Vito served as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry.
Prior to her appointment as secretary, Vito served as the department’s Deputy Secretary for Workforce Development, where she helped to devise Job Ready PA.
Vito also served as Governor Rendell’s Deputy Campaign Manager, Chief of Staff to State Senator Christine Tartaglione, minority chair of the Senate Labor and Industry Committee, Political Director of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, and the Executive Director of the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League.
Vito was the department’s 32nd Secretary and the second woman to hold the position since the department’s creation in 1913.
