CIMS Claims Converting to WCAIS
All open claims in CIMS were converted to the new computer system (WCAIS) before go-live in 2013.
All closed claims from September 2008 to September 2013 were converted from CIMS to WCAIS. Anything closed prior to September 2008 was not converted. (Closed cases are defined as cases where compensation (indemnity and medical) benefits have terminated
All suspended claims from September 2002 to September 2013 were converted from CIMS to WCAIS. Anything suspended prior to September 2002 was not converted. (Suspended cases are defined as cases where indemnity is not being paid but the insurer is still liable for medical.)
