Child Care Information
We are NAEYC Accredited
Hello! Welcome to the Labor and Industry Child Care Center. Our goal is to work with each family and child to promote growth and development in a safe and stimulating environment. We have been NAEYC accredited since 1999 and in 2007 we were one of the first centers to be reaccredited under new NAEYC standards. NAEYC is the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Accreditation is awarded for child care centers which demonstrate substantial compliance with nationally recognized criteria for high-quality early childhood programs. In 2003 and each year since, our center received a four star rating from the Department of Public Welfare’s Keystone Stars program which promotes child care providers who exceed state health and safety requirements.
Hildebrandt Learning Center at L&I has an open door policy and we encourage you to visit our center whenever your work schedule allows. As child care professionals, we strive to form a partnership with you and your family. Communication is very important to us. We will let you know how your child is doing and will keep you involved in your child’s daily activities through daily conversations, by contacting you with any questions or concerns, and by scheduling special activities that would welcome your participation. We look forward to getting to know you and your child!
